Welcome to Moab, in the heart of southern Utah.  Home to not one, but two National Parks, Arches and Canyonlands.  The view from Canyonlands was truly breathtaking, you are able to hike along the rim of the canyon for a couple miles and view the full force of geological time. Offers some nice perspective. The town of Moab has transformed multiple times from a Mormon outpost, to Uranium mining boom town, to its current state of tourist mecca for the parks.
